Are you ready to make a difference in the world of education? At Colleges and Institutes Canada, we’re on the lookout for passionate, innovative, and driven individuals to join our team. If you’re eager to contribute to a vibrant community and work to strengthen Canada’s publicly supported colleges, institutes, CEGEPs, and polytechnics, we want to hear from you!

Why Choose Us?

Impactful Work: Be part of a mission-driven organization dedicated to advocacy for colleges and institutes across Canada.
Collaborative Environment: Work alongside a diverse team of professionals who are as committed to excellence as you are.
Innovative Culture: Embrace a culture that values creativity, innovation, and forward-thinking solutions.

The Senior Gender-Responsive Education Analyst will collaborate with Colleges and Institutes Canada (CICan) and Universities Canada (UnivCan) team members to develop and implement the Canadian International Development Scholarships 2030 (BCDI 2030) gender strategy and leadership program. This role involves supporting colleges and universities in planning and executing gender and leadership activities, coordinating the program’s monitoring and evaluation (ME) activities, and overseeing information gathering. The analyst will work closely with ME specialists to document, analyze, and track results using the program’s performance measurement framework, ensuring an integrated gender perspective. Additionally, they will ensure that the CICan/UnivCan consortium conducts detailed analyses that reflect this perspective and optimizes the use of data available under the BCDI 2030 program and other international initiatives.

The Canadian International Development Scholarships 2030 (BCDI 2030) program is funded by Global Affairs Canada (GAC) and overseen by a consortium made up of Colleges and Institutes Canada (CICan) and Universities Canada (UnivCan), in partnership with the West African Economic and Monetary Union (WAEMU), the Association of African Universities (AAU), and the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS).

BCDI 2030 will foster the social and economic development of people — particularly women — in eligible Francophone countries, Commonwealth countries, and other Small Island Developing States, with +0% of the scholarships going to partner countries in sub-Saharan Africa. CICan and UnivCan will leverage long-standing partnerships to build strategies in eligible countries and empower women and men leaders to become agents of change and improve their communities through their knowledge, expertise and interpersonal skills, and by promoting active citizenship.

The program will reach more than 7,000 people — 51% of whom will be women and girls — and will have two separate components: The program will support scholarship recipients from eligible countries in their studies at Canadian colleges and universities and will mobilize Canadian colleges and universities to jointly develop with their partners customized education and training programs to meet the needs of labour markets in partner countries.
