Job Description
We're on the lookout for a Data Operations Executive who can take our game to the next level. As a Data Operations Executive, you'll be the MVP in managing and curating crucial sports data before the matches kick off. You'll be in the zone, working closely with sports federations and teams, making sure that all the exciting data is accurate, up-to-date, and ready to be uploaded to our live streaming app. Your expertise in data operations and collaborative skills will be the key to ensuring an unforgettable experience for sports fans across the platform.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the end-to-end process of collecting and uploading important sports data before matches to our live streaming app.
• Collaborate with sports federations, teams, and relevant stakeholders to obtain necessary data, including match schedules, player statistics, team line-ups, and other pertinent information.
• Ensure the accuracy, quality, and timeliness of data collection and uploads, adhering to strict deadlines.
• Monitor and track sports events, keeping up-to-date with match schedules, changes, and cancellations.
• Work closely with the technical team to ensure seamless integration of collected data into the live streaming app.
• Conduct data quality checks and validations to ensure the integrity of the data being uploaded.
• Troubleshoot any data-related issues and provide timely resolution to maintain a smooth data operations process.
• Maintain documentation and records of data operations processes, ensuring they are up to date and easily accessible.
Must-Haves:
• Relevant work experience of 2-4 years in data operations, preferably in the sports industry.
• Strong knowledge of sports data, including match schedules, player statistics, and team line-ups.
• Experience in working with sports federations, teams, or relevant stakeholders to collect and manage data.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple data sources and deadlines simultaneously.
• Proficiency in data management tools and systems.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Good-to-Haves:
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools.
• Experience with data visualization tools.
• Passion for sports
