Our client is an employee-owned, award-winning, architectural practice firm with a proven track record in practical, innovative and economical design. During a long history, Our client has designed some of Canada’s most notable buildings.

Their offices serve both Canadian and international clients with the immediacy and attention of a local service. Their design influence can currently be found in eight of Canada’s provinces, and in Nunavut.

The employee-owned firm is staffed with well over 160 experienced architects, designers, project managers, administrative staff, including LEED, Evidence-Based Design and LEAN accredited professionals, many of whom are dedicated to specific market sectors. They believe in personalizing the design experience for clients and maintaining a hands-on approach to projects. Every project they undertake has the direct involvement of Directors and Principals. Promoting mutual trust, we address the full scope of a facility’s operational requirements, from addressing technology and space needs to optimizing everyday movements, as well as employee health, well-being and productivity. Their unique ability to provide truly meaningful services to our clients is largely derived from the partnerships that we foster with them.

Requirements:
• 10+ years’ experience in Contract Administration
• Proficiency in Revit, BIM 360, BIM Docs, Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel and Word
• Degree or diploma from an accredited institution in Architecture
• Fully versed in the Ontario, or B.C Building Code and have experience with large-scale institutional buildings
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
• Strong analytical/ problem solving skills
• Strong knowledge of building technology/ assemblies, construction methodology, materials application, and interpretation of manufacturers' requirements.
• Able to assemble construction drawing revisions with minimal supervision including site plans, floor plans, elevations, building sections, wall sections, details, schedules etc.
• Ability to coordinate with Contractor, Consultants, Client and Authorities having Jurisdiction
• Highly organized with the ability to manage time, deadlines and deliverables
• Self-motivated individual capable of assuming increasing responsibility for both current and future projects and who is interested in growing with the firm
