Our client is a dedicated provider of community and social care services, seeking a compassionate and experienced Senior Community Support Worker to join their team in Jaipur, Rajasthan, IN . This role is focused on providing comprehensive support and care to elderly individuals within their homes and the local community. The ideal candidate will have a deep commitment to enhancing the quality of life for seniors, possessing strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and practical experience in elderly care. You will be responsible for delivering personalized care plans, assisting with daily living activities, providing emotional support, and coordinating with families and healthcare professionals to ensure holistic well-being.
Responsibilities:
Provide direct care and support to elderly clients in their homes, adhering to personalized care plans. Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, medication reminders, and mobility. Offer companionship and emotional support, fostering a positive and engaging environment. Monitor clients' health and well-being, reporting any changes or concerns to supervisors and healthcare providers promptly. Administer medication as prescribed, following strict protocols. Accompany clients to medical appointments, social outings, and community events. Educate clients and their families on health management and safety. Collaborate effectively with other care team members, including nurses, therapists, and social workers. Maintain accurate and confidential client records and documentation. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices in elderly care. Act as a reliable point of contact for clients and their families, addressing concerns and providing reassurance. Contribute to the development and refinement of care strategies. Qualifications:
Diploma or Certificate in Nursing, Healthcare Support, Gerontology, or a related field. Bachelor's degree is a plus. Minimum of 5 years of experience in providing direct care to elderly individuals, preferably in a community or home-care setting. Demonstrated knowledge of common age-related health conditions and care needs. Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills. A strong sense of empathy, patience, and compassion. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Proficiency in basic medical procedures and medication administration. Understanding of relevant health and safety regulations. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. First Aid and CPR certification required. Familiarity with the Jaipur, Rajasthan, IN community is an advantage.
