Senior Bookkeeper

We’re on the hunt for a Senior Bookkeeper to join our Norwest, Sydney crew and play a hands‑on leadership role, guiding others while managing a portfolio of awesome clients.


about the role

You’ll be part of a collaborative team where bookkeepers and advisors work side by side.

Your day will be a mix of managing your own client work, mentoring offshore team members, and working closely with our directors and clients to deliver insights that help businesses do better.


what you’ll be doing

Lead and support a small bookkeeping team – reviewing, and making sure quality shines through
Manage bookkeeping across a variety of industries – no two days are the same
Process payrolls, BAS, IAS and all the usual compliance essentials
Jump into Xero, QBO and MYOB like a pro [because you are one]
Liaise directly with clients – we love building relationships, not just spreadsheets
Work closely with our team to keep everything running smoothly
Help with month‑end and year‑end processes
Keep things organised, accurate, and ahead of schedule via our workflow management system

what we’re looking for

5+ years bookkeeping experience in a practice or professional setting
Confidence across Xero, QBO and MYOB
Solid payroll, bookkeeping, and compliance experience
A natural ability to juggle multiple clients
Some leadership experience or a genuine interest in developing those skills
BAS Agent registration a bonus, but not essential
An eye for detail and pride in your work
Great communication skills and a team‑first attitude
