The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing architectural work from concept through to completion, including designing, developing drawings, and coordinating with vendors, consultants, and site teams. The role involves ensuring that all projects meet the highest standards of quality and adhere to industry regulations. Key Responsibilities: Design Development:Understand client needs and develop feasibility reports and design proposals under the guidance of the Design Manager.Innovate with ideas that align with client requirements, building usage, and environmental impact, staying ahead of architectural trends.Coordinate with the 3D team for building aesthetics development.Select appropriate materials based on client preferences and project themes, and prepare material boards for presentations. Drawing Development:Lead the preparation of drawings from project initiation to completion, ensuring high-quality details in both schematic and working drawing stages.Ensure compliance with specific standards, building codes, guidelines, and regulations.Collaborate with a team of 2 to 3 Architects/Technicians to meet project deliverables on time. Consultant and Vendor Coordination:Work closely with structural and service consultants to ensure design development and execution.Engage with various vendors for material selection and explore new materials available in the market. Client and Site Coordination:Partner with project managers to meet design deliverables in line with site requirements.Conduct periodic site visits to monitor project progress and report on status. Applicant Qualifications:Applicants preferred from architect firms first.Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (B. Arch or equivalent) from a recognized institution.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Google SketchUp, MS Office, and Revit (mandatory). Familiarity with Photoshop is a plus.5-+ years of experience in architectural consultancy, specifically in commercial buildings, shopping centers, hospitality, or healthcare projects.Strong visualization skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work under tight deadlines.Willingness to travel outstation for project site visits and flexibility to work extended hours when necessary.
