As the Senior Academy Manager, you will lead, plan, and complete all advanced and continuing education programs for licensed cosmetologists at Kao Salon Academies. Reporting to our Associate Director of Education, you will deliver the best education on all Kao Salon brand products, promoting community engagement, and increasing sales growth and profitability through impactful learning experiences.

At Kao, we offer amazing benefits that are available to you on your first day of employment (healthcare, 401(k) plus company match), 36 total days off (vacation + holidays + sick) and a reasonable salary range of $80,000 - $110,000.

Our Academy is open Sunday through Thursday, with occasional events on Fridays. You must be willing to work on site at the Academy.

What you will do:

Promote, Plan, Scheduling and manage all the programs at the Kao salon academy ensuring Kao academy standards for the ultimate experience in advanced education.
Create Social Media content to drive awareness and ticket sales of Academy programs.
Manage salon academy budget
Manage a team of 2 academy employees
Collaborate with the Academy Experience Manager for the Global Salon Awards judging and training of finalists for competition in the Global event
Manage the Kao Salon Academy registration site and maintain content for accuracy and maintain image standards
What you will need:

Certified and licensed by the State Board of Cosmetic Art as a cosmetologist.
5 years' experience managing building/vendor relationships.
5 years' experience managing employees, contractors and memorable customer experiences.
Previous experience in a comparable education role and/or experience making group presentations.
