Security Guard – Government Site
$28/hour Benefits Pension Career Growth
Securitas Canada is currently hiring professional Security Guards to work at a high-security government site in Ottawa.
This role is ideal for security professionals who are reliable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a structured and highly secure environment.
Responsibilities
Access control and verification of visitors
Interior and exterior patrols
Preventing unauthorized access
Monitoring site activity and reporting incidents
Enforcing site security procedures
Responding to alarms and emergency situations
Schedule
Night and shifts – 12 hours
6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
6:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Requirements
Availability for 12-hour night shifts (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM)
Availability for 12-hour day shifts (6:00 AM – 6:00 PM)
Continuous residence in Canada for the past 10 years
Speaking English fluently
Owning a car
Willingness to undergo an extensive and highly intrusive government security screening process
Valid BSP license and/or Ontario Security Guard license
Security Clearance Requirement
Applicants must be eligible to obtain an Enhanced Top Secret Government Security Clearance.
This process includes a comprehensive background investigation conducted by government authorities.
