About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled SAT or SSAT tutor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of recent SAT or SSAT exam trends (last 5 years), a proven track record of helping students achieve significant score improvements, and the ability to tailor lessons to individual learning needs.
Responsibilities:
Conduct one-on-one or small-group tutoring sessions for SAT or SSAT prep.
Analyze student practice tests to identify recurring weaknesses and develop targeted strategies.
Teach test-taking techniques, time management, and subject-specific concepts (Math, Reading, Writing).
Stay updated on current SAT or SSAT exam patterns and adjust teaching materials accordingly.
Provide personalized feedback and track student progress.
Requirements:
3+ years of experience teaching SAT or SSAT with verifiable student success stories.
Deep familiarity with recent SAT or SSAT question types, scoring rubrics, and exam strategies.
Strong ability to diagnose student errors and explain solutions clearly.
Patient, engaging, and adaptable teaching style.
Bachelor’s degree (preferred but not mandatory if experience is strong).
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
