Position Overview:
We seek a dynamic sales professional to drive B2B/B2C sales of premium wooden cutlery and eco-friendly packaging products. The ideal candidate will build client relationships while promoting sustainable alternatives in the foodservice and retail industries.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development
Identify and acquire new clients (restaurants, hotels, retailers, event planners)
Expand market share in eco-conscious consumer goods sector
Achieve quarterly sales targets through strategic account management
Product Expertise
Technical knowledge of woodenware manufacturing processes and materials
Articulate sustainability benefits (biodegradability, FSC certification, carbon footprint)
Conduct product demonstrations and sample presentations
Account Management
Manage full sales cycle from prospecting to post-sale follow-up
Negotiate contracts and maintain CRM records
Analyze market trends to recommend product improvements
Collaboration
Coordinate with design/production teams for custom packaging solutions
Work with international logistics team from overseas suppliers to ensure timely deliveries
Provide market feedback
Brand Advocacy
Represent company at trade shows and industry events
Develop case studies showcasing environmental impact
Monitor competitor activities and pricing strategies
Other Required Duties
Assist the sales and daily management of the associated business
Requirements:
3+ years' experience in tableware sales or sustainable packaging industry
Proven track record in B2B sales (foodservice sector preferred)
Strong understanding of circular economy principles
Excellent negotiation skills with ability to close complex deals
Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of international packaging regulations (FDA, EU Directive +4/62/EC)
Experience with bulk procurement processes
Multilingual capabilities for global client base
Existing network in green hospitality sector
