Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Sales Marketing Manager role based in Dharwad. The Sales Marketing Manager will oversee day-to-day sales activities, including identifying new business opportunities, managing existing accounts, and meeting revenue targets in assigned territories. The role involves planning and executing marketing campaigns, coordinating product promotions, and supporting branding initiatives aligned with the company’s objectives. The manager will conduct market research, analyze competitors, and provide regular forecasts and reports to leadership. Responsibilities also include leading and mentoring the local sales team, collaborating with production and logistics for timely deliveries, handling client visits and presentations, and representing the company at trade shows or industry events as needed.The manager needs to have prior knowledge of TIER-1 OEM sales and should have knowledge about Industrial Rubber and Polyurethane products.
Qualifications
• Proven experience in industrial or B2B sales and marketing, preferably in manufacturing or related sectors.
• Strong skills in market research, territory management, and customer relationship management (CRM tools exposure is an advantage).
• Ability to develop and execute sales and marketing plans, including forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking.
• Effective communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
• Experience leading or supervising sales teams, with a focus on coaching, motivating, and performance management.
• Comfortable working on-site in Dharwad, conducting field visits, and traveling within the region as required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); familiarity with digital marketing tools is beneficial.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a results-focused, ethical, and customer-centric approach.
• Knowledge of regional languages in addition to English and Hindi is a plus for local market engagement.
