Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager with 5–6 years of proven
experience in solar rooftop systems or renewable energy sales. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding the customer base, managing key accounts, and leading the end-to-end sales cycle—from lead generation to project closure. This role requires strong industry knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build long-term relationships with residential, commercial, and industrial clients.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company targets for solar rooftop installations.
Identify new business opportunities in residential, commercial, and industrial segments.
Generate leads through networking, referrals, cold calling, and partnerships.
Conduct site assessments in coordination with technical teams and present customized solar solutions to clients.
Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and cost-benefit analyses.
Negotiate contracts and successfully close high-value deals.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, channel partners, EPC
contractors, and corporate clients.
Stay updated on government policies, subsidies, net metering regulations, and industry trends.
Collaborate with engineering, project management, and operations teams to ensure seamless project execution and high customer satisfaction.
Maintain accurate sales forecasts, reports, and CRM data.
Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and networking forums.
Mentor junior sales executives when required and support team performance.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering,
Renewable Energy, or a related field.
MBA is a plus.
5–6 years of experience in solar rooftop sales, EPC sales, or renewable energy solutions.
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Strong understanding of solar PV systems, financing models, and regulatory frameworks.
Excellent negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.
Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office.
Willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits.
