Our client is seeking a Sales and Business Development Manager for an internally based role, with occasional customer visits as required. We are looking for candidates with a proven track record in a similar position or a strong sales background within the manufacturing sector. While full product training will be provided, prior knowledge and experience in this sector would be highly beneficial.

Responsibilities:

As a Business Development Manager (BDM), you will:
• Conduct research to identify new business opportunities and projects.
• Build relationships and identify opportunities with existing and dormant accounts.
• Target new business using lead generation tools.
• Drive sales growth by implementing the above strategies.
• Analyse competitor products, commercial strategies, and routes to market.
• Update and maintain the CRM system.
• Provide commercial and product technical support to customers.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should have:
• At least 3 years of experience in a sales-related role within the manufacturing sector.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess market trends.
• A self-motivated and target-driven approach to work.
• Familiarity with CRM systems.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Residency within the stated locations in the UK.
