Job Summary:

The Salesperson will be responsible for promoting and selling petroleum products, equipment, or related services to clients in sectors such as energy, manufacturing, transportation, or retail. This role involves identifying new business opportunities, maintaining existing client relationships, negotiating contracts, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
Understand clients’ operational needs and provide tailored solutions.
Serve as the main point of contact for customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback.
Sales Business Development:
Identify and target potential customers within assigned territories or sectors.
Generate and follow up on leads from networking, trade shows, referrals, or cold calling.
Present and demonstrate products and services to prospective clients.
Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms of sale.
Market Product Knowledge:
Stay up to date on industry trends, pricing, competitor activities, and regulatory changes.
Provide clients with accurate technical and commercial information about products such as crude oil, lubricants, fuels, or equipment.
Reporting Forecasting:
Prepare and deliver regular sales reports and forecasts to management.
Track sales performance against targets and KPIs.
Compliance Safety:
Ensure sales activities align with industry regulations and internal compliance standards.
Promote safe handling, transport, and usage of oil and petroleum products.
Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related field (oil and gas industry, Lubricant industry and Petroleum industry experience may substitute in some cases).
Experience: 2–5+ years in B2B sales, B2C sales preferably in the oil, energy, or industrial sector.
Skills:
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Technical aptitude to understand oil industry products and logistics.
Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Work Conditions:

May require travel to client sites, terminals, or refineries.
Field visits to remote or industrial locations may be necessary.
Flexible working hours to accommodate client schedules.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
