The Role
The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing SABA's marketing and communications strategy to drive brand growth, customer engagement and commercial outcomes.
Working closely with Product, Ecommerce, Retail and Digital teams, the role is responsible for bringing the SABA brand to life across all customer touchpoints through compelling campaigns, creative content, customer experiences and integrated marketing initiatives.
The role is critical in building brand awareness, deepening customer connection, supporting profitable retail growth and delivering content that converts, while ensuring all activity reflects SABA's position as an accessible luxury Australian fashion brand.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Communications Strategy
Develop and execute the annual marketing and communications strategy aligned to SABA's strategic priorities.
Own the integrated marketing calendar and Go to Market across retail, ecommerce, CRM, social, PR, partnerships and events.
Manage budgets, reporting and performance against agreed KPIs.
Translate customer, brand and commercial insights into actionable marketing plans.
Customer First Community & Omni-Channel
Develop a deep understanding of the SABA customer and champion a customer-first mindset across all marketing activity.
Support the growth and engagement of SABA Rewards through customer acquisition, retention and loyalty initiatives.
Lead customer events, partnerships, referral programs and community-building initiatives.
Develop brand ambassador and advocacy programs that strengthen customer connection and engagement.
Partner with Retail and Ecommerce teams to deliver a seamless omni-channel customer experience.
Create customer experiences that build long-term loyalty and increase customer lifetime value.
Product & Content That Converts Elevate the Brand
Lead the development and execution of seasonal content across all customer touchpoints.
Create compelling product storytelling that reinforces SABA's position as the destination for intelligent, versatile investment dressing.
Showcase product versatility across work, weekend, travel and occasion dressing to support customer end use and conversion.
Deliver a diverse content ecosystem across campaign, styling, editorial, social, ecommerce and community-led content.
Grow customer-generated and community content to increase authenticity and engagement.
Partner closely with Product and Ecommerce teams to support category priorities, key product stories and commercial objectives.
Drive innovation in content formats, channels and storytelling approaches.
Retail Marketing Profitable Stores
Partner with Retail to drive customer traffic, engagement and profitable full-price sales.
Deliver local marketing initiatives, client events and activations that support store performance.
Support clienteling programs through customer-focused marketing initiatives.
Develop marketing plans for new store openings, refurbishments and key retail moments.
Collaborate with David Jones and strategic partners to maximise customer reach and awareness.
Measure and report on the effectiveness of retail marketing initiatives and events.
Social Media, PR & Brand
Develop and execute social media strategies that drive awareness, engagement and growth.
Manage influencer, ambassador and talent partnerships.
Work closely with PR agencies and media partners to maximise brand visibility.
Ensure consistency of brand identity, tone of voice and visual standards across all customer touchpoints.
