Job Description
At Riverside Honda and Ski-Doo, we are passionate about powersports and outdoor adventure. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional customer service and expert guidance to enthusiasts of all levels. We are currently looking for a dynamic and driven Lead Retail Sales Associate to take charge of our Riding Gear and Clothing department.
Position Overview
In this role, you will be the driving force behind our apparel and gear department. You will not only provide top-tier customer service and drive sales, but also mentor and train your team members, maintain visually appealing displays, and leverage your product expertise to elevate the entire department.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Service: Greet customers, assess their needs, and provide expert recommendations to drive sales in riding gear, clothing, and accessories.
Team Leadership: Guide, mentor, and train retail staff to enhance their product knowledge and sales techniques.
Merchandising: Design and maintain attractive, organized, and effective product displays that showcase our latest inventory.
Product Expertise: Continuously build and share deep knowledge of our product lines to answer customer inquiries accurately and effectively.
Inventory & Operations: Assist with stock management, merchandising standards, and maintaining a clean, welcoming retail environment.
Qualifications & Skills
Leadership Experience: Proven experience leading a team, coaching others, and fostering a positive, productive work environment.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with on- and off-road motorcycle riding gear, ATV, snowmobile, and mountain bike gear, as well as powersports-related casual wear.
Retail Experience: Previous retail experience in clothing or apparel sales is considered a strong asset.
Attitude: A strong, team-focused, and proactive attitude with a passion for delivering results.
Merchandising Skills: An eye for visual merchandising and retail presentation.
