What you’ll do:

As the Retail Operations Compliance Lead, you will be at the forefront of ensuring our venues operate within a strong compliance framework, aligned with Tabcorp’s policies and regulatory standards. Your role will focus on enhancing daily operational execution, reducing risk, and supporting our venues to thrive.

Retail Operations

Oversee venue openings, closures, and equipment relocations across the network
Support daily operations, ensuring compliance with internal procedures and regulatory obligations
Conduct annual reviews of security, CCTV, and safety protocols to meet compliance standards
Compliance Risk

Perform regular compliance audits and risk assessments in venues
Drive the implementation and consistency of standard operating procedures
Report on findings, collaborate with venue managers, and lead corrective action planning
Roll out improvement plans that boost operational efficiency and reduce risk exposure
Venue Support

Be the key contact for venues on all operational and compliance matters
Support onboarding and upskilling of venues with a focus on compliance excellence
Coach and guide venues on best practice and policy adherence
Develop and deliver engaging training programs to uplift venue and team capability

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for retail and compliance.

To be successful, you’ll have:

3+ years’ experience in retail operations, compliance, or risk management
Strong knowledge of retail compliance and regulatory frameworks
Demonstrated ability to manage projects and drive operational improvements
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and coaching skills
Analytical mindset with a practical approach to problem-solving
A relevant degree in Business, Retail Management, or Compliance (preferred but not essential)

What you’ll do:
