Job Title: Steward / Senior Steward
Department: Food & Beverage

Job Summary

The Steward/Senior Steward is responsible for delivering excellent guest service, ensuring smooth restaurant operations, maintaining hygiene standards, and supporting team efficiency. The role involves guest interaction, service execution, training (for senior and TR roles), and coordination between service and kitchen teams.

Key Responsibilities

For Steward / Senior Steward

Greet guests warmly and ensure a positive dining experience
Take food and beverage orders accurately and serve as per standards
Maintain cleanliness of tables, service stations, and dining areas
Follow SOPs for service, hygiene, and safety standards
Assist in clearing tables and resetting them promptly
Coordinate with kitchen and bar for timely service
Handle guest requests and basic complaints politely
Support management in skill development and refresher training
Desired Skills & Competencies

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong customer service orientation
Knowledge of food & beverage service standards
Ability to work in fast-paced environments
Leadership and team-handling skills
Problem-solving and guest complaint handling
Basic billing/POS knowledge (preferred)
Qualifications

Minimum: 10th / 12th pass (Hotel Management preferred)
Certification in Hospitality or F&B Service is an advantage
Experience

Steward: 0–1 year
Senior Steward: 1–3 years
Captain: 3–5 years
Training Captain: 4–6 years with training experience
Pay: ₹19,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
