Job Description
Responsibilities
Conduct routine quality inspections of short-term rental properties to ensure they meet KYAN's cleanliness, presentation, and operational standards before and after guest stays.
Identify, document, and report maintenance concerns, damaged items, missing inventory, or cleanliness issues, ensuring they are resolved promptly.
Complete detailed inspection reports with photos and notes to maintain accurate records of each property's condition.
Coordinate with cleaners, maintenance technicians, and vendors to ensure deficiencies are corrected efficiently and to company standards.
Restock guest amenities, household essentials, and property supplies to ensure every home is fully guest-ready.
Verify that all appliances, smart home devices, locks, Wi-Fi, and property features are functioning properly before guest arrivals.
Assist with setting up new properties and maintaining organization of company inventory and storage areas.
Continuously monitor property standards and recommend improvements to enhance the guest experience and protect homeowners' investments.
Requirements
Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify cleanliness, maintenance, and presentation issues quickly and accurately.
Previous experience in hospitality, property management, housekeeping, maintenance, or a related field is considered an asset.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple properties and prioritize tasks throughout the day.
Comfortable using smartphones and apps to complete inspections, document findings, and communicate with the operations team.
Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of accountability and professionalism.
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cleaners, maintenance vendors, and internal team members.
Basic handyman skills and the ability to perform minor repairs (such as changing light bulbs, replacing batteries, tightening hardware, or assembling small items) are an asset.
A proactive mindset with a commitment to maintaining high property standards and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Valid Class 5 driver's licence and a reliable vehicle for travel between properties throughout Calgary.
