Residential Support Worker, Children’s Services

Making a Difference as Residential Support Worker

Due to Maternity Leave a rare opportunity has arisen for two successful candidates to work at Abbeyford Children's Home on a fixed term basis.
The main purpose of these posts is to contribute to the provision of our Residential Short Breaks service to young people who have a learning disability and associated health needs. The successful candidates will be providing, high quality care and appropriate levels of supervision in residence. These posts are fixed term Maternity cover until November 30th 2026.

Applicants should ideally have some experience of working in a Health and Social Care setting and have an ability to work directly with vulnerable people and manage challenging behaviour.

This is an exciting opportunity for you to utilise your existing skills and develop new ones. You will receive continuous support, development, and career progression opportunities on your journey with us. Abbeyford is currently rated as "Outstanding" in all areas with our Regulator Ofsted.
