Job Description
Responsibilities:
• Conduct in-depth market analysis of Base Metals across the full value chain: mining, concentrates, smelting/refining, and end-use sectors.
• Track and analyze global supply-demand balances, production disruptions, logistics, capacity changes, inventories (exchange and off-exchange) and cost curves.
• Support/lead price forecasting; develop market models, market commentary, and data validation.
• Engage clients, produce research reports and insights, and make presentations for relevant stakeholders.
Requirements:
• Prior experience working at a price reporting agency (PRA)/sell-side in a research or market analyst role is preferred.
• Strong understanding of global base metals supply chains, including concentrates, refining, scrap, end-use demand, and price analysis.
• Familiarity with LME pricing structures, spreads, inventories, and derivatives.
