Job Title: Research Associate Fashion Design
Job Location: New Delhi, Hauz Khas
Department: Research and Development
Profile Brief
We are looking for a dedicated Research Associate with a background in fashion design to contribute to our research efforts in the field of fashion. The Research Associate will play a crucial role in gathering, analysing, and interpreting data related to fashion trends, consumer behaviour, and design innovations. This role involves both qualitative and quantitative research methods to support the development of cutting-edge fashion products and collections.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct extensive research on fashion trends, historical influences, and cultural shifts to identify emerging design themes.
Analyze market data, consumer preferences, and purchasing behaviours to provide insights for design strategy.
Collaborate with the design team to translate research findings into tangible design concepts.
Assist in creating mood boards, trend forecasts, and visual presentations for design inspiration.
Source and compile information on fabrics, materials, and techniques that align with research findings.
Maintain a comprehensive database of research sources and references.
Assist in preparing reports, presentations, and documentation of research findings
Attend industry events, seminars, and workshops to stay updated with the latest developments in fashion and design.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure research insights are integrated into the design process.
Qualification & Required Experience
· Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Textile Science, or a related field from a reputed institute.
· Previous experience in fashion research or design-related research is preferred.
· Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data and trends effectively.
· Proficiency in using research tools and software for data collection and analysis.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English is must.
· Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
· Creative thinking and the ability to connect research insights with design concepts.
· Passion for fashion and a curiosity about cultural and design trends.
· Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment.
. Experience in Indian Ethnic wear is must.
. Preference will be given to those who have been into customization.
