About the role:

The Research Assistant will work across a small number of active research projects and knowledge translation activities. These include a Million Minds-funded workplace suicide prevention project, a small workplace suicide prevention knowledge translation project, an Institute for Health Transformation Impact Grant, and a book project on work mental health.

Assisting the Professor of Work, Health and Wellbeing you will have excellent written communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, be able to work independently and have high level digital literacy and capability.

As a Research Assistant, you will:

Conduct literature searches and retrieve publications and assist with drafting of literature reviews for manuscripts
Create and maintain Endnote libraries, and format references in manuscripts using Endnote program
Assist with Ethics applications including preparation, submission, monitoring and reporting
Assist with data collection for a knowledge translation project
- including recruitment and interviewing
Assist with analysis and write up of knowledge translation project
Manage external dissemination of research outputs
To be successful, you’ll have:

A Masters of Public Health or equivalent. PhD students with relevant experience welcome to apply.
Experience with bibliographic reference management programs (preferably Endnote)
Experience in operating in a high-pressure diverse environment, involving face to face, phone and written communication
Some experience in drafting literature reviews and in reporting research project results
Experience in literature searching and conducting research interviews
