Summary of Job Position: Jupiter Avionics is looking for a self-motivated Repair and Test Technician to join our expanding team. Reporting to the VP of Operations, the Repair and Test Technician will play a key role in the repairing and testing of the company’s production series electronics products. This position will also include some electronics assembly as time permits.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform acceptance tests on all newly-built products and troubleshoot as required.
Perform and/or assign, assess and supervise the repair process tasks: receiving, fault finding, root cause assessment, repairing, testing, and packaging .
Coordinate with the Quality Assurance Dept for the inspection of repaired products.
Coordinate with the Accounting Dept for the invoicing of repair services and parts.
Communicate with the Support Dept on the status and priority of repairs.
Coordinate with purchasing and operations to ensuring parts are available for repairs.
