Looking to grow your recruitment career? We’re excited to be expanding our recruitment team to meet the evolving needs of the business. We are looking for a Recruitment Advisor on a 2 year FTC to join the team and be at the heart of attracting the fantastic talent that keeps Manchester moving. Support our managers with the full end-to-end recruitment process and championing best practice throughout the candidate journey, you’ll play a key role in shaping how we attract hire.
The role will offer you lots of variety and opportunity to develop and grow your recruitment knowledge as no day will be the same. From advertising our vacancies on multiple platforms to shifting CVs, scheduling interviews, coordinating assessment days, supporting the offer and onboarding process or attending careers fairs.
There will be opportunity to change the way we do things and take the lead on process improvement projects, bringing to life our people strategy - Attract, develop, Retain.

Key accountabilities will include:
Manage and respond to day-to-day queries in the recruitment inbox within SLA
Maintain the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and coordinate candidates being moved swiftly through at each stage of the process
Support the candidate experience throughout the application and onboarding process
Support with offers and onboarding for new starters. This includes right to work in the UK documentation is accurate, issuing the offer via Docusign and supporting managers in preparing for their new starter to join the team
Support advertising our vacancies across multiple platforms to attract the best talent on the market and we are seen as an employer of choice
Assist with recruitment - shortlisting, scheduling interviews and assessment days
Maintaining data to ensure accuracy as data supports our attraction strategy
Provide first line advice to hiring managers and candidates
Support process improvement projects for the ATS to create an awesome candidate and manager experience
Attend careers fairs and recruitment campaigns to enhance KAM as a employer of choice
What you’ll bring:
Previous experience working in recruitment
Proficiency in recruitment using Applicant Tracking System (ATS) platforms
Good IT skills - Microsoft Office Suite such as Outlook, Word and Excel
Experience using Cascade or Recruitment Plus (desirable)
Experience of using multiple advertising channels / platforms
Knowledge of Right to Work and hiring best practice
Know your audience, delivering excellent customer service
Flexible approach and able to adapt to meet the needs of the business
Willingness to learn and bring new ideas or ways of working
Excellent organisational, time management skills with the ability to multi task
High attention to detail and proactive with problem-solving

A starting salary of £30,000
2-year fixed term contract
37.5 hours per week – hybrid working 3 days in the office and 2 days from home
