Job Description
As an Accounts Receivable (AR) you are responsible for managing the financial transactions related to revenue collection and ensuring that payments from guests and clients are received in a timely and accurate manner. Responsibilities will includes:
• Generating invoices for hotel services provided to guests, groups, or clients.
• Receiving and recording payments from guests, including cash, credit card, and checks.
• Responding to guest inquiries related to their bills and providing detailed explanations as needed.
• Handling accounts receivable for groups, conferences, and events, and coordinating with event organizers.
• Assessing the creditworthiness of clients and determining credit limits for guests or groups.
• Monitoring and tracking payments to ensure they are received on time, and following up on outstanding balances.
• Reconciling guest accounts to ensure that all charges and payments match the records.
