Job Description
1. Brand Strategy & Narrative Building
• Define and evolve a clear, opinionated brand positioning
• Translate business objectives into culturally resonant brand narratives
• Build consistency across touchpoints without losing creative edge You don't write "safe" brand decks- you create routes worth backing.
2. Creative & Campaign Leadership
• Lead the development of distinctive, insight-first campaigns
• Drive agency output to deliver work that stands out, not blends in
• Champion bold ideas while maintaining sharp execution discipline You know the difference between "good marketing" and work people remember.
3. Content & Cultural Relevance
• Own the brand's voice across platforms- sharp, premium, and current
• Build scalable content systems that deliver consistency + freshness
• Tap into culture (not chase trends) to keep the brand meaningfully relevant You instinctively know when something feels dated, derivative, or dead-on-arrival.
4. Innovation & Brand Experience
• Shape launches beyond product - story, drop, and experience
• Create ideas that extend beyond screens into real-world brand moments
• Identify whitespace opportunities at the intersection of consumer, culture, and category You think in platforms and moments- not just campaigns.
5. Data, Judgment & Effectiveness
• Use data to sharpen creative decisions- not dilute them
• Balance brand-building with performance accountability
• Track and improve key brand metrics with a clear POV on what matters You can defend a bold idea in a room full of spreadsheets.
6. Team & Creative Leadership
• Manage and elevate agencies and partners to deliver best-in-class work
• Build a culture of high standards, low ego, and fast iteration
• Collaborate seamlessly with product and leadership teams You raise the bar for everyone in the room- without needing to say it.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Brand Manager should have:
• 8-10 years in FMCG / D2C / consumer brands (MBA Preferred)
• Proven track record of delivering distinctive, high-impact campaigns
• Strong instinct for culture, storytelling, and premium brand building
• Ability to operate with equal comfort in decks and on-ground execution
