Job Description:
• Good hands-on experience in writing test automation scripts with Selenium & Java/Python with Database Testing, UI Testing, Security Testing, Functional and Non- Functional Testing.
• Understand enterprise data architecture, related data principles and impacts on downstream systems
• Participate in architecture activities ensuring testability and ability to address both technical and business requirements
• Collaborate with others to define and evolve data platform test strategy
• Experience in building, maintaining & testing configuration tools such as JUnit, TestNG, Unix Shell scripting, Gradle, JMeter, GIT, and SQL
• Perform test automation on multiple application types Web, APIs (SOAP or REST), web UI applications or Hadoop etc.
• Experience with Jenkins or similar CI/CD tools, to integrate, run and monitor the automation scripts.
• Possess experience in JavaScript test automation.
• Responsible for all functional and regression testing activities related to assigned scope
• Provide testing estimates and meet project testing timelines
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
Skills, Knowledge and Competencies:
• B.S. degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent
• 5+ years of coding experience, preferably with Java, Python
• Willingness to learn new languages
• Experience handling and processing sensitive data such as PII
• Hands-on working experience testing REST APIs, building test frameworks
• Experience in data integration (ETL) / data engineering in a near real-time data warehouse environment, a big plus
• Any experience with data pipelines or AI/ML based system, a big plus
• Must be comfortable in a dynamic environment, with the ability to adapt to various technologies and simultaneously work on multiple projects
• Must have a curious mind
• Be obsessed with quality
• Ability to work within an iterative software development lifecycle, under Agile development processes
We are looking for a talented Software Test Engineer who can thrive in a fastpaced, agile environment. You will be working closely with a team of developers using cutting-edge technologies. You will be responsible for the design, development, and automation of the test framework for our Data Platform. This position requires API testing and automation of data pipelines, cloud data warehouses, business intelligence, and machine learning platforms. This is a highly technical role and the ideal candidate can utilize programming languages and analytics tools/technologies to validate products, machine learning models, data pipelines, and data deliverables.
