Key Responsibilities
Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including medical history, lifestyle factors, and physical examinations
Develop tailored treatment plans that address the underlying causes of illness and support overall wellness
Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care
Stay current with the latest research and advancements in functional medicine
Educate patients on the importance of healthy lifestyle choices, including nutrition and exercise
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
Qualifications
Medical Provider (Physician or NP/PA)
Board certification in Functional Medicine or a related field
Strong foundation in functional medicine principles and practices
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively with other healthcare professionals
Commitment to ongoing education and professional development
Compassionate and empathetic approach to patient care
