A Snapshot of Your Day
This role is a replacement to ensure business continuity for facility management operations within Siemens Energy Real Estate India with focus on Bangalore Locations. This position is crucial for maintaining the operational stability and safety of our corporate facilities. To achieve this, the role is structured around three core areas: facility operations and maintenance, comprehensive vendor and financial management, with a focus on zero harm and compliance and project management of office and maintenance projects. This approach ensures all aspects of property management, from daily upkeep to strategic supplier engagement, are covered. Given the focus on operational excellence, the ideal candidate will possess proven experience in facility management, strong skills in budgeting and vendor negotiation, and demonstrated leadership capabilities. A background in a corporate real estate environment is essential to successfully lead the team and manage regional assets.
How You’ll Make an Impact
50% Facility Operations and Maintenance
Oversee the daily operations and preventive maintenance programs for all building systems, including HVAC, electrical, security, and plumbing.
Manage space allocation, office reconfigurations, and moves to support evolving business requirements.
Implement and enforce Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) policies and procedures to ensure a secure and compliant workplace.
Conduct regular facility inspections to identify and resolve maintenance issues, ensuring all sites meet quality and cleanliness standards.
50% Vendor and Financial Management
Manage relationships with external service providers and contractors, including contract negotiation, performance monitoring, and compliance.
Develop and manage the annual facility operating budget, including forecasting, expense tracking, and processing invoices.
Oversee the procurement of facility-related goods and services, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality.
Prepare regular financial and operational reports for senior management, detailing budget performance and key activities.
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
Proven experience in corporate facility or property management
Experience managing budgets, vendors, and maintenance programs in a multi-site environmen
Facility and Asset Management, Vendor Management and negotiations, Maintenance / Construction /, Refurbishment Project Management
Building Management System, Stakeholder and Occupier Management, Landlord negatiotion and Lease Management
Financial and Vendor Management, Budgeting, Vendor Management, Negotiation, Invoicing, Leadership and Compliance
Workflow Management, Report Writing, Environment Health And Safety, Regulatory Compliance

The direct team is spread over Asia pacific and India. We collaborate remotely while everyone has local responsibilities. We also interact internally with other teams such as Finance. And we collaborate with our internal clients
