What role will you play in the team?As a US Expatriate Tax Services Staff, you will assist in providing tax services to US citizens and green card holders working abroad. Your role is crucial in helping clients navigate the complexities of US tax laws while living and working overseas.What you will doYou will prepare US tax returns for expatriates, including income tax returns and foreign bank account reports (FBARs). You'll also assist in tax planning for expatriates and provide guidance on international tax issues.Key responsibilityPrepare US individual income tax returns (Form 1040) for US citizens and green card holders working abroad.Prepare foreign bank account reports (FBARs) and other international information returns.Assist with tax planning for expatriates, including analyzing the impact of foreign tax credits and deductions.Research US and foreign tax laws and regulations.Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and address tax-related questions.Maintain accurate records and documentation.Assist with tax audits and inquiries from tax authorities.Stay up-to-date on changes in US and international tax laws and regulations.Required Qualification and SkillsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.0-1 years of experience in US expatriate tax services, preferably with a public accounting firm.Basic understanding of US individual income tax laws and regulations.Familiarity with foreign bank account reporting (FBAR) requirements.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent communication
