Job description
CAE USA is looking for an experienced Property Administrator/Custodian to support its customer at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. This is a full-time, on-site position supporting the US Government and will be responsible for coordinating property control activities to ensure continual accountability of government property in accordance with company practices and applicable government regulations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include management of government property for the program, working with Government Property Manager to ensure compliance to FAR 52.245-1, coordinating physical movement of government property, performing annual property inventories, maintaining property accountability records, determining condition and arranging for disposal of surplus or obsolete material, coordinating property audits and providing guidance on government regulations pertaining to property accountability, and coordinating shipping/deliveries of equipment. Qualifications include knowledge of government property control principles, practices, standards and supplements (FAR 45, FAR 52.245-1, applicable DFARS clauses, ASTM standard, AS9100, etc.), a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline with minimum two years experience in logistics, supply, inventory control, or government property administration or six years related experience in lieu of degree, ability to obtain/maintain a Secret security clearance, and U.S. citizenship due to government contract requirements. Preferred skills include ability to work well in a team environment, excellent communication skills, and ability to self-task and explore areas for improvement. The role requires compliance with company security and data protection policies, eligibility for DoD Personal Security Clearance, and physical ability to lift up to 75lbs and climb ladders up to 10ft.
