Project Worker - Mental Health/Learning Disabilities.

Permanent roles, 37 hours per week, South Ribble (Preston/Leyland)

Are you seeking a new opportunity as a Project Worker to offer and provide support to vulnerable adults in the community? Do you have strong values and work in a person-centred way?

If so we want to hear from you! Working for an established organisation, and innovative community project who provide support to people with learning disability and mental health issues.

The role:
• To work with and support adults with learning disability, mental health issues and other additional needs.
• Lone working, you will be offering daily support to help promote independent living to adults who may present with behaviours that challenge.
• Support with dally activities which may include walking, football, music, fun days out and more!
• Build positive and professional relationships with the people being supported.

The ideal candidate:
• Ideally you will have some knowledge/experience of supporting people with a learning disability/mental health issue although not essential.
• Level 2 in Health and Social Care is preferable but training also provided
• Hold strong core values and display a positive and 'can-do attitude
• Be committed to wanting to make a difference to the lives of vulnerable people
• Be able to work flexibly for shifts that will include days, evenings and alternate weekends plus sleep ins.
• Ideally car drivers with access to your own vehicles.
