Job Description – Project Sales Manager
Job Title: Project Sales Manager
Department: Sales & Business Development
Location: Delhi
Reporting To: Sales Head / Director
Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and result-oriented Project Sales Manager to drive business growth by identifying, developing, and managing project-based sales opportunities. The ideal candidate will build strong client relationships, generate new business, coordinate with internal teams, and ensure successful project execution while achieving sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
* Identify and develop new project sales opportunities through market research, networking, and client visits.
* Generate leads and convert them into long-term business opportunities.
* Build and maintain relationships with architects, consultants, contractors, builders, industrial clients, and key decision-makers.
* Prepare and deliver technical and commercial proposals, quotations, and presentations.
* Negotiate contracts, pricing, and commercial terms with clients.
* Coordinate with the Design, Production, and Operations teams for timely project execution.
* Track project progress and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
* Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
* Maintain accurate sales pipeline, CRM, and project reports.
* Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements.
* Participate in exhibitions, seminars, and business development events.
* Ensure timely collection of payments and resolve customer concerns.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
* MBA (Marketing/Sales) is preferred.
Experience
* 3–8 years of experience in Project Sales, B2B Sales, Industrial Sales, Construction Sales, Engineering Sales, or Manufacturing Sales.
Required Skills
* Strong project sales and business development skills.
* Excellent negotiation and relationship management abilities.
* Good understanding of project sales cycles and tender processes.
* Strong communication and presentation skills.
* Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
* Ability to travel frequently for client meetings and project discussions.
