We are seeking to fill for the following Clerk Grade 7/8 opportunities across the Teaching, Learning and Student Wellbeing (TLSW) division:

Digital Projects Compliance Officer – located at Lewisham
The Digital Projects and Compliance Officer coordinates production management, operations, logistics and the delivery of digital assets.

Digital Projects Technology Officer – located at Lewisham
The Digital Projects and Technology Officer provides digital instructional design and architecture for learning content in the creative and performing arts.

Project Officer – located at Parramatta
The Project Officer performs project management and supports activities to contribute to the development and delivery of a range of projects in line with established objectives.

Policy Officer – located at Parramatta
The Policy Officer coordinates and undertakes policy development, providing analysis and advice, to support Department and Government policy initiatives and commitments.

These roles provide crucial support that enables our educators and staff to focus on what they do best: delivering quality education to students across NSW.

About you
We’re seeking experienced professionals with:


A valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) for paid employment (or willing to acquire one)
Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education
Knowledge of and commitment to implementing the Department’s Aboriginal Education Policy and upholding the Department’s Partnership Agreement with the NSW AECG and to ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
Digital Projects Compliance Officer:
o Experience in digital project management.
o Comprehensive knowledge and experience of web-based learning and digital authoring software.
o Knowledge of current departmental and government policies and procedures in relation to digital media.
o Hold a valid Drivers licence.
Digital Projects Technology Officer:
o Knowledge of audiovisual streaming, photography editing, graphic design and support tools.
o Proven experience in website design, development, and maintenance.
o Background in instructional design and digital content architecture with familiarity in accessibility standards and best practices.
o Experience with data reporting systems and tools.
o Familiarity with WebAIM standards and their application in digital content creation.
Project Officer:
o Experience supporting or managing end-to-end project delivery, particularly within a government or complex organisational environment.
o Demonstrated experience in project management and/or business system improvement.
o Tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent knowledge, skills and experience in project management.
Policy Officer:
o Tertiary qualifications in public policy, public administration, law, social sciences, education, economics, or a related discipline and/or equivalent experience.

About the Teaching, Learning and Student Wellbeing division
The Teaching, Learning and Student Wellbeing (TLSW) division strives to improve educational and wellbeing outcomes for every young child and every student. The division includes five directorates providing support to schools:

Curriculum directorate leads coordination of special programs and leading the department’s response to the NSW Curriculum Reform supporting curriculum implementation across P-12.
Inclusion Wellbeing directorate leads coordination of state-wide strategy, policies and programs to lift student participation, health and wellbeing, outcomes for students with disability, maximising access, inclusion and wellbeing of students in education from P-12.
Student Support and Specialist Programs directorate provides state-wide student support services and specialist programs to support student engagement in Arts, Sport, Community Languages and International programs, child wellbeing and mental health, and assisted school travel.
Student Wellbeing Support directorate provides direct support to schools to strengthen accessible and inclusive education practice to maximise wellbeing and learning for students in NSW public schools.
o For roles in Student Wellbeing Support, you will be given the opportunity to work from one of the following education office locations: Adamstown, Albury, Armidale, Arncliffe, Batemans Bay, Bathurst, Broken Hill, Campbelltown, Coffs Harbour, Deniliquin, Dubbo, Forster, Goonellabah, Grafton, Griffith, Macquarie Park, Maitland, Miranda, Moree, Murwillumbah, Newcastle, Nirimba (Quakers Hill), Orange, Port Macquarie, Queanbeyan, Ringrose (Greystanes), Riverwood, St Peters, Tamworth, Tuggerah, Wagga Wagga, Warilla
Teaching and Learning Support directorate develops and delivers evidence-based professional learning, resources and advice that enables schools, teachers and the system to support all learners to effectively access the curriculum to fulfill their potential.
