Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Trade Show & Events Coordinator. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing trade shows and events to promote our company's products and services.
Duties:
- Plan and execute trade show exhibitions, including booth setup, staffing, and promotional activities
- Coordinate logistics for events such as venue selection, catering, and audiovisual requirements
- Develop and manage event budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness
- Collaborate with marketing teams to create event marketing materials and promotions
- Provide exceptional customer service to event attendees and guests
- Communicate effectively with vendors, sponsors, and internal stakeholders
- Implement strategies for upselling products or services during events
- Maintain organizational efficiency throughout the planning and execution of events
Qualifications:
- Strong time management skills to meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Proficiency in budgeting and financial management for event planning
- Experience in market research and understanding consumer behavior
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest services
- Ability to effectively communicate with diverse groups of people
- Background in hospitality or related field is a plus
- Upselling experience is beneficial for maximizing event opportunities
- Strong organizational skills to coordinate complex event logistics
- Previous experience in restaurant or hospitality industry is advantageous
