DEPARTMENT - ADMINISTRATION

REQUIREMENTS:

High School diploma
Two (2) years related admin experience
Demonstrated working knowledge of basic office equipment including but not limited to copier/scanner, fax, telephone and calculator
Demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook and database programs
SKILLS:

Expressed belief in the inherent growth potential of persons with disabilities
Ability to relate positively with others
Ability to communicate and be understood in English
Excellent organizational ability
Ability to attend to several tasks simultaneously
PHYSICAL CAPABILITIES:

Must be able to sit, stand, bend and reach sufficiently to utilize office equipment and access files
Must have sufficient visual acuity to accurately perform essential functions of position
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Perform all admin and clerical tasks related to maintaining accurate and current records of service recipient activity; including admissions, discharges, placements, and other program changes
Receive referral information and make appropriate contacts with staff for intake scheduling
Create and maintain up to date confidential case records in an organized manner and keep an inventory of past records up to and including disposal
Communicate all program changes to relevant staff and referral source in a timely manner
Track, bill, and maintain all program/service authorizations from funding sources
Complete and submit required funding source reports as needed (e.g. MEER, Transportation)
Perform relevant typing, filing, etc. for program staff as may be needed or requested
Work with Vice President and other members of the program staff to:
Maintain functional computer data bases to track service recipient information and outcomes
Maintain current information regarding service recipient transportation, emergency information, guardianship, medical status, etc.
Serve on committees as requested, e.g. Case Record Review, accreditation preparation, audits and related
Conduct tours of the agency as requested by supervisor
Maintain adequate supplies of necessary program forms, documents, and related
Take deposits to bank daily
Provide daily lunch coverage as needed for reception
Maintain confidentiality regarding all service recipient/agency matters
Participate in professional development activities as recommended by supervisor
Participate in the Safety Program for the agency
Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
Adhere to the mission and all other guidelines set forth by the agency
Hours – Monday – Friday 8:30 am – 4:00 pm, a 35 hour workweek with biweekly pay.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
