About the role:
This position is responsible for the coordination, movement and record keeping of dry inbound and outbound. Coordinate movement of raw materials and finished products for production. The Production Support Operator ensures food and employee safety in their daily routine.

Key responsibilities:
Co-ordinate the movement of trucks traffic with local Supply Chain.
Keep warehouse organized and clean.
Load and unload products and ingredients safely.
Coordinate the movement of all raw materials for production
Complete receiving slips noting actual amounts received; shortages/overages in comparison to the bills of lading.
Notify Quality Assurance department when samples are needed for raw materials.
Take inventory daily of specific items as required.
Check bills and seal numbers against receiving schedule for load PO#
Enter details of reception into SAP and produces tags.
Utilize scanner for inventory additions removals.
Report any issue, concern and delays to the Shift Supervisor.
Assist with production lines if needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Ensure compliance with all food and employee safety policies and procedures.

About you:
High school diploma. Experience in a food manufacturing environment an asset.
Familiar with computers and SAP.
Lift truck certification and experience with reach forklift
May require a skills evaluation.

Working environment:
Must be able to freely move around entire facility.
Must be able to lift 55 lbs.
Ability to stand on concrete floor for long periods of time.
Bend, squat, stretch, reach; frequently.
Ability to climb stairs, often.
Must be able to lift minimum of 50lbs, often.
Comfortable working at heights.
Must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and temperatures in the facility.
