JOB DESCRIPTION – PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR
Department: Production / Factory Operations
Designation: Production Supervisor
Location: Jaipur
Reporting To: Factory Management / Management
Job Purpose
The Production Supervisor will be responsible for overall factory production and day-to-day operations. The role will function as a key support to Factory Management and will supervise all major production activities to ensure timely production, quality, productivity and smooth factory operations.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and manage overall factory production from cutting to final finished goods.
Plan and monitor daily production as per assigned targets and delivery schedules.
Supervise Cutting, Stitching, Finishing, QC and Packing departments.
Ensure correct cutting, fabric utilization, stitching quality and production flow.
Monitor product quality at every stage and coordinate with QC for correction of defects.
Ensure timely movement of material between departments and minimize production delays.
Allocate and manage manpower according to production requirements.
Monitor worker productivity, discipline, attendance and performance on the factory floor.
Control rework, rejection, wastage and production losses.
Ensure finished goods are properly checked and ready for dispatch as per requirements.
Maintain daily production records and provide regular updates to Factory Management.
Identify operational issues and take immediate corrective action within delegated authority.
Coordinate with Store, Purchase, QC, Dispatch and other departments for smooth factory functioning.
Assist Factory Management in day-to-day factory decisions, planning and overall operations.
Ensure compliance with company rules, safety standards and management instructions.

Required Experience & Skills
Experience in garment/apparel manufacturing preferred.
Good knowledge of cutting, stitching, finishing and QC processes.
Strong manpower handling and leadership skills.
Ability to manage multiple departments and production deadlines.
Good problem-solving and coordination skills.
Practical, responsible and result-oriented approach.
Note: Although the designation is Production Supervisor, the position carries overall production-floor responsibility and will act as a key operational support to Factory Management.
