We’re looking for a hands-on Production Manager to lead our Glendenning Production team, drive performance, foster a high performing culture and assist in developing the next generation of CMTP leaders.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for the day-to-day operations and overall performance of the site. That includes:
Leading, coaching, and mentoring a production team of both permanent and casual staff.
Ensuring safety, quality and productivity targets are not only met — but improved.
Driving process improvements and reducing downtime through smart, efficient planning.
Supporting the installation of new equipment and implementing best-practice systems.
Being hands-on, visible on the floor and leading by example.
Working with senior management to set targets and deliver real results.

What We’re Looking For

Proven leadership in a manufacturing or production environment (timber knowledge a bonus).
A calm, capable operator who thrives in different situations and gets things done.
Someone who embraces challenges and backs themselves to solve problems.
Great with people — you build trust, set high standards, and help others grow.
Mechanically minded, computer literate and always willing to learn.
Strong understanding of safety systems, SOPs and risk assessments.
A leader with aspiration to develop their career, grow with the site and CMTP.
