About the Production Machine Operative job

The purpose of your role is to be responsible for the manufacture of food products according to the production plan.

Key tasks
• Set up, control, and adjust semi-automated machines, feeding raw materials as needed.
• Periodically test machine operations, reporting issues or breakdowns to the Production Manager/Engineers.
• Organise production processes to maximise efficiency, meet targets, and ensure quality standards are upheld.
• Follow hygiene, health safety, and food safety guidelines, identifying areas for improvement in production methods.

About You
• You should have some experience in food manufacturing, production, or packhouse environments.
• Experience with mechanical food production machinery and a mechanical mindset are a plus. Food Safety and Hygiene qualifications are also helpful.
• A driving license and your own transport are essential due to the factory’s location and shift hours.
