Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Process Engineer role based in Kanpur. The Process Engineer will design, optimize, and maintain production processes for PU sole manufacturing to improve efficiency, quality, and safety. Responsibilities include analyzing process performance data, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing improvements in collaboration with production, quality, and maintenance teams. The role involves developing and updating process documentation, work instructions, and standard operating procedures, as well as supporting trials for new designs, materials, and technologies. The Process Engineer will also monitor process control parameters, ensure compliance with relevant standards, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the plant.
Qualifications
• Candidates should possess strong Process Engineering and Process Design skills for manufacturing environments.
• Candidates should possess solid Process Control and Analytical Skills to monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize production performance.
• Candidates should possess engineering brain.
• Experience in polymer or PU manufacturing, footwear components, or similar process industries is beneficial.
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and quality management systems is an advantage.
• Ability to work collaboratively on-site with cross-functional teams and communicate technical information clearly.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Production, Mechanical, or related field) preferred; relevant experience may also be considered.
