Job Description
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Project Governance / PMO professional to support governance and coordination across a program consisting of multiple projects. The candidate will work closely with individual Project Managers to monitor project progress, ensure consistent reporting, track risks and dependencies, and provide management with a consolidated view of program/project health.
The ideal candidate should have strong program governance, stakeholder management, coordination, reporting, and project tracking experience.
Key Responsibilities
Establish and maintain project/program governance frameworks, processes, and standards.
Coordinate with multiple Project Managers to collect regular project updates.
Monitor project scope, schedule, milestones, risks, issues, dependencies, and deliverables.
Consolidate project-level information into program-level status reports and dashboards.
Maintain and monitor RAID logs (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies).
Track action items and ensure timely closure with respective stakeholders.
Identify project delays, risks, and cross-project dependencies and escalate them appropriately.
Ensure consistent reporting and governance practices across all projects.
Prepare materials for Steering Committee, governance, and management review meetings.
Coordinate governance meetings, prepare agendas/minutes, and track decisions and actions.
Work closely with Project Managers, Program Managers, Business stakeholders, and senior leadership.
Monitor adherence to agreed project governance processes and standards.
Support project planning, milestone tracking, resource/status reporting, and performance reviews.
Identify opportunities to improve project governance, reporting, and coordination processes.
Required Skills
5+ years of experience in PMO, Project Governance, Program Management, or Project Controls.
Strong experience working across multiple projects/workstreams.
Excellent coordination and stakeholder management skills.
Strong understanding of project governance and PMO processes.
Experience with RAID management, status reporting, dashboards, risk/issue tracking, and dependency management.
Strong analytical and reporting skills.
Ability to communicate project status and risks clearly to senior management.
Strong follow-up, organization, and escalation skills.
Experience working with multiple Project Managers and cross-functional teams.
Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Jira, Confluence, or similar project management/reporting tools.
