Photography and videography Instructor
Job Description
We are looking for a passionate and skilled Photography and Videography Tutor to join our institute and train aspiring creatives in the art and craft of visual storytelling. This is a hands-on teaching role ideal for industry professionals or educators with a strong technical background and creative vision.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
Deliver hands-on training in photography and videography for beginners to intermediate students
Teach studio and outdoor photography (lighting, composition, camera settings)
Train on video shooting techniques including gimbal use, framing, audio, and storyboarding
Provide instruction on editing software: Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro (or equivalents)
Guide students through real-world projects and portfolio building
Offer feedback and conduct performance evaluations
Stay updated with current trends and technology in visual media
Skills & Qualifications
Diploma/Degree in Photography, Film, Media Arts, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience in professional photography and videography
Strong knowledge of DSLR/Mirrorless cameras, lighting equipment, and post-production workflows
Experience with gimbals, studio setups, and on-location shoots
Excellent communication and teaching skills
A portfolio of past work is required for consideration
