Role Description:
The Carrier Relations Representative is responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with carrier partners through effective prospecting, onboarding, and account management. This role works closely with cross-functional teams within Carrier Sales to ensure the seamless onboarding of new carriers, accurate account setup, and proper assignment of carriers to the appropriate representatives or regions. The representative also supports carrier engagement, operational coordination, and relationship growth to ensure long-term business success.
Job Responsibility:
Manage carrier onboarding by ensuring all required documentation, systems, and records are accurately updated.
Handle carrier invoicing, account reconciliation, and ensure timely resolution of billing discrepancies.
Administer and maintain carrier contracts, process amendments or renewals, and communicate contract updates to relevant stakeholders.
Coordinate with carriers to ensure timely collection of invoices and supporting documentation.
Maintain accurate records of carrier accounts and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures.
Perform additional administrative and operational duties as assigned by management.
Requirement:
1–4 years of experience in Carrier relations, dispatch, or logistics coordination
Sales-minded individual, team-oriented player, and self-motivated individual with proven sales ability.
Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, with the ability to manage carrier and internal stakeholder expectations through clear, timely verbal and written communication
Candidates should possess Sales and negotiation skills, including rate negotiation, lane development, and relationship-building to secure competitive and reliable carrier partnerships.
Additional beneficial qualifications include familiarity with US transportation markets, TMS or logistics software experience, basic data analysis for carrier performance, and strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Work Schedule:
Night Shift
5 days a week (Monday to Friday)
6:00 PM to 3:00 AM (IST)
