Pharmacy Technician / Experienced Pharmacy Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our team. We are also open to considering experienced Pharmacy Assistants with a strong background in community pharmacy who are looking to further develop their skills in a collaborative pharmacy environment.

Duties

Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently
Manage medication inventory, including restocking and labeling supplies
Provide patient care by answering medication-related questions and offering guidance under pharmacist supervision
Verify prescriptions for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with regulations
Maintain detailed records of medication transactions and patient interactions
Utilize medical terminology effectively to communicate with healthcare professionals and patients
Support medication administration processes as needed, ensuring proper documentation and safety protocols are followed
Adhere to all safety, health, and sanitation standards within the pharmacy environment
Requirements

Registered Pharmacy Technician in good standing with the OCP, or
Pharmacy Assistant diploma and/or equivalent community pharmacy experience.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration procedures
Experience in patient care with excellent communication skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Knowledge of pharmacy software systems and inventory management tools is a plus
Pay: $18.00-$28.00 per hour
