Zydus Hospitals is seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacy In-Charge to lead our pharmacy team in Ahmedabad. As the Pharmacy In-Charge, you will be responsible for managing daily operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and providing exceptional patient care. This role requires a strong background in pharmacy management, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
You will oversee pharmacy staff, manage inventory, and work closely with healthcare providers to ensure that patients receive the correct medications and supplies. Additionally, you will stay current with industry developments and participate in ongoing education to maintain your licensure and enhance your professional skills.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and oversee pharmacy staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling to ensure efficient operations.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations related to pharmacy operations and practices.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels, order medications and supplies as needed to ensure uninterrupted service.
• Provide excellent patient care, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring patient satisfaction.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure patients receive the right medications and medical supplies.
• Stay up-to-date on new medications and developments in the field of pharmacy through continuing education.
• Maintain accurate records of all medications dispensed and ensure proper storage and disposal practices.
• Monitor and evaluate pharmacy operations to improve efficiency and service quality.
• Implement and enforce pharmacy policies and procedures to uphold best practices and regulatory standards.
• Handle any discrepancies or issues related to medication orders and inventory management.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy or a closely related field.
• Valid pharmacy license in Gujarat or the state of employment.
• At least 3 years of experience in a pharmacy setting, with a minimum of 1 year in a supervisory role.
• Solid understanding of pharmacy laws and best practices to ensure compliance and effective operations.
• Strong organizational and attention-to-detail abilities to manage pharmacy activities efficiently.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
