Responsibilities:
• Accurately compound and dispense medications as prescribed by physicians at Delhi Heart Hospital.
• Monitor patient drug therapies and offer interventions as needed, providing information on possible side effects.
• Educate patients on correct medication usage, timing, and dosage for better health outcomes.
• Conduct routine health screenings, including blood pressure, temperature, and blood sugar checks.
• Provide immunizations and additional health services to support patient wellness.
• Maintain accurate records of all patient interactions, medications dispensed, and interventions.
• Ensure the pharmacy and work environment are kept clean, organized, and safe.
• Verify orders, maintain records for controlled substances, and monitor inventory for expired medications.
• Coordinate with the healthcare team to streamline medication management for inpatients.
• Offer guidance on lifestyle and dietary adjustments for optimal treatment results.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s or Diploma in Pharmacy (B.Pharm/D.Pharm).
• Valid license to practice as a pharmacist in New Delhi.
• Proven experience as a pharmacist, ideally in an IPD or hospital setting.
• Detailed knowledge of drug dosages, administration, chemical compounds, and pharmaceutical brands.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and pharmacy management software.
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively advise patients.
