Health Care Aide at Assisted Living Alberta

Become an integral part of Assisted Living Alberta as a Health Care Aide at Chinook Regional Hospital. This role involves supporting daily living activities and providing care to a diverse range of patients. As a Health Care Aide, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, focusing on enhancing patient safety, hygiene, and overall wellbeing.

This position includes assisting nurses in care routines, organizing patient activities, and maintaining effective communication with patients and families across various settings. Your commitment will greatly affect the lives of those in your care. Key Responsibilities:
• Support patients in daily living activities with compassion
• Assist nurses in delivering routine care effectively
• Organize and facilitate engaging patient programs
• Observe, document, and report on patient conditions
• Maintain a safe and respectful environment for all Requirements:
• Certification or eligibility with the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta
• Experience caring for the elderly, including dementia care
• Proven experience in a secured setting with complex behaviors
• Preferred training in crisis intervention and dementia care
