The successful candidate will be responsible for compounding and dispensing medications, monitoring patients’ drug therapies, conducting wellness screenings, and ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical regulations. The role requires strong pharmaceutical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient safety and care.
Responsibilities:
• Compound and dispense medications as prescribed by physicians
• Monitor patients’ drug therapies and provide interventions when needed
• Inform patients about dosage, usage, and potential side effects of medications
• Conduct health and wellness screenings, including blood pressure, temperature, and sugar levels
• Provide immunizations and other medical services as required
• Maintain accurate patient and pharmacy records
• Ensure a safe, clean, and compliant pharmacy environment
• Verify order entries, maintain inventory, and remove expired/damaged drugs
• Adhere to all pharmaceutical laws, regulations, and procedures
• Perform administrative tasks as assigned
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or Pharmacology
• Valid license to practice as a Pharmacist
• Proven experience in pharmacy practice
• Strong understanding of dosage requirements, chemical compounds, and pharmaceutical brands
• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities
